WELCOME LETTER

Welcome Back!

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Janine Douglas, and I am the Physical Education Teacher at George Pullman Elementary School. I welcome you and your family to SY2021-2022.

In SY20-21 the Covid19 virus disrupted the world. The virus caused illnesses and pushed us back into our homes. I am eager to start the new school year. We will hit the floor running and jump start our hearts. This year we will begin to challenge our bodies and minds. Your children will learn new games,  practice yoga, play team sports, create their own exercise plan and collaborate with peers to create a new game. We will have an action packed school year!

I look forward to working with the families of the Pullman/Roseland communities.

Physical education is for every youngster, to help them learn about themselves, learn about their bodies, learn ways to become physically active but not necessarily to compete.
